Other details that will factor into the types of gowns that we show to you are the time of year, time of day, and formality of the wedding.
That being said, keep an open mind when it comes to trying on new styles too. It's impossible to know how you will look in a dress until you are wearing it. Something that you loved in a photo may not be the right fit for your body, and on the other hand, a dress you aren't that impressed with on the hanger may look amazing once you step into it.
Gather your entourage.
You will want to be selective when choosing the people to bring along with you to your bridal gown shopping appointment. Many may be excited to join you, but too many differing opinions can make the decision a lot more difficult for you. Invite people that know your personal style well, have your best interests at heart, and will help to make the trip the positive experience that it should be. We don't suggest that you eat a great big meal right before your appointment, but don't go on an empty stomach either. You'll want to have plenty of energy in case it's a lengthy search. Eat something light before you come in, or at least keep a snack handy in your purse, just in case.

Show up for your scheduled appointment on time so that you can spend every single moment of it narrowing down the choices. You don't want to show up late and miss out on precious time we have set aside especially for you.
